Well, it has been awhile. But let's not dwell on the past and look towards the future instead. As many of you have probably noticed, it is summer! Which means we trade in the hours and hours of school work for hours and hours of immersing ourselves into the intricate worlds built by words.
Now, I don't know about you but during the school year I didn't get as much reading done as I would like to. So, if I want to try and achieve my end of the year reading goal of 83 books, I am going to need to utilize this summer to do some extreme reading.
And in order to do this, I am going to begin my second book experiment.

Introducing...
Operation Extreme Reading Summer 2015
In order to catch up with the amount of books I want to read this year, I am going to have to set a goal of how many books I want to read by the end of the summer. Considering there are two remaining months left in summer my goal is to read thirty books (at least).
Now, to make it a little more interesting, I'm going to set up some challenges for myself.
Now that you all know that I am challenging myself to accomplish this, I won't be able to back out. Don't worry, I'll keep you all updated weekly with how I am doing. Also, feel free to join in on my experiment or tailor an experiment to your own goals. Let me know how you are doing in the comments or e-mail me!
Now, I'm off! My mom just brought home a new book for me so let the games begin! (:
May the odds be ever in your favor. (Sorry, had to).
Now, to make it a little more interesting, I'm going to set up some challenges for myself.
- Read two classics
- Read a book recommended by a friend
- Read two whole series
- Read a non-fiction
- Read a book I started but never finished
- Read a book genre that I don't typically read
- Read a book that came out this summer
- Read 7 books each having it's own color of the rainbow
